A helicopter tour is the most expensive way to see Lake Como, and also the most complete: in fifteen minutes you cover what a ferry takes a full day to reach. Flights depart from Como or from Milano Bresso airfield, carry up to six passengers in private configuration, and range from a quick scenic loop to half-day tours that land for lunch. It's a serious splurge — but for proposals, anniversaries, or once-in-a-lifetime trips, nothing else comes close. You pay the operator on the day; we arrange the slot and the right aircraft for your group.

How it works
Message us on WhatsApp with your dates, group size, and how long you want to fly. We check availability with vetted local pilots and operators, confirm the aircraft and departure point — Como or Milano Bresso — and you pay directly on the day. No prepayment, ever. For the longer tours with lunch stops, we coordinate the restaurant booking as well.
What's included
The helicopter exclusively for your group, the pilot, fuel, and all landing fees. Some packages include a bottle of champagne on board — ask us and we'll tell you exactly which ones. On the lunch tours, the helicopter lands near a restaurant and waits while you eat. Transfers to the departure point aren't usually included, but we can arrange a driver.
Who it's worth it for — and who should skip it
Worth it for proposals, milestone birthdays, honeymoons, or groups of four to six splitting the cost — at six passengers the 30-minute tour works out to around €330 each, which changes the maths considerably. Skip it if €900+ is a stretch for your budget: a private boat tour gives you a memorable day for a fraction of the price, and honestly, the lake is beautiful from the water too.
Honest advice: pick the right length
Fifteen minutes is a taster — spectacular, but over fast, and you only see the central lake. If you're going to do this at all, the 30-minute flight is where it becomes worth the money: you reach Bellagio, Varenna, the northern basin, and the mountain skyline. The multi-hour tours with lunch are for people who want the helicopter to be the day, not just a highlight of it.
Season and conditions
Flights run mainly April to October. May, June, and September give the most stable conditions and the clearest visibility. Helicopters are less weather-sensitive than seaplanes but still don't fly in poor visibility or strong wind — if the flight is cancelled for weather, you don't pay.
